Spend the morning hammer in hand learning some of the basic skills Blacksmiths use daily. You’ll learn how to light and maintain a coal forge, and try some skills like drawing out, scrolling, punching and drifting.

What you’ll make.

The morning will involve making an S hook and a bottle opener.

-Maximum of four people.

-No previous experience required.

-9am - 12:30pm (please aim to arrive for 8:45am).

-Please wear sensible clothing and footwear.

-Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Cost.

This course costs £120. Covering the cost of your materials and coal, with two teachers on the day.
